He was born in a rough neighborhood and started hanging out and coming close with the peoples of Icy black gang located in 40th Street and south cottage Grove Avenue and later he as well joined in their gang and in their criminal activities.
He was the close friend of Anthony Welch who was killed in 2010 and the gain was then named after his name for providing him respect. Tay has killed two gang members of the 037 Avenue gang.
